The Hall is available for hire to members of the public and is ideal for children's parties, dinner parties, meetings, christenings and other receptions.

Unfortunately parties for 14 to 21 year olds are not permitted. Due to our location, adult parties are allowed only for West End Residents, and by special arrangement.

Please note that the Hall is run entirely by volunteers. Please be patient when booking or communicating with the team and allow up to 7 days for a response.

How To Book

Commercial or Block Bookings

For commercial bookings, or where you may be booking a series of events, an extended period of time or need a different payment method or terms, please contact our bookings administrator at:

One-Off Bookings

To book the Hall:

  1. See if the Hall is available for the session you require in the Availability Calendar.

  2. Ensure that the kind of event you are planning is permitted by checking our terms and conditions here: Terms and Conditions

  3. Ensure that the Hall suits your needs, has the required amount of space, suitable layout, equipment (tables, chairs, etc.) and other facilities (kitchen equipment, crockery, etc.). You can check these on the Facilities page of this site, which includes:

    • Floorplan (coming soon)

    • Typical layout for different event types (coming soon)

    • A gallery of how other people have used the hall (coming soon)

    • An inventory of equipment (coming soon)

  4. If you are still unsure and would like to view the Hall, please contact to arrange a personal viewing.

  5. Check the pricing information above (this is also shown during the booking process).

  6. If you would like to proceed, go to the Make A Booking page (under Bookings -> Make A Booking).

  7. On the Hall Bookings page, click 'Request to Book' next to the booking type you require (choose daytime | evening and weekday | weekend).

  8. A bookings calendar will appear which allows you to select your required date. Note that:

    • Only days with red dots underneath still have available booking slots.

    • All bookings must be made at least 7 days prior to the booking date so the following 7 days will not be available to select.

    • Only days that fit the category you have selected will appear in the calendar to book so, for example, Daytime Sessions - Weekdays will only show Monday to Friday free slots.

    • Bank Holidays will not be available to book from the calendar. If you would like to book a Bank Holiday, please contact

  9. Select your chosen day and pick the time of the slot you require by clicking it. Then click Next.

  10. On the 'Please Enter Booking Details' page, enter your booking information. Please note:

    • Adding clear and accurate information will help us to process your booking quickly and efficiently so please enter full and detailed information.

    • Your email address will be used for confirming the booking so please check that this is correctly typed.

    • 'Booking purpose' is used to check the suitability of your booking. If this is not clear, we will need to contact you for further information which will slow the booking. Please include important details such as the type of event and the people attending (e.g. 'Children's party' or 'Adult party' rather than just 'Party' or 'Birthday party'). Where it is an adult gathering, particularly in the evening, we are likely to need to do more checks so information on rough numbers and expected start / finish times would be useful.

    • You will need to agree to the Terms and Conditions before booking.

    • If you are a resident of West End, you are entitled to a £10 discount on any booking. Click 'Enter a promo code', enter LOCAL and click Apply to apply the reduced rate. We will use the booking address you supply to verify.

  11. Once you have entered your information, click Send Booking Request.

  12. You will receive a notification 'Your Booking Request Has Been Sent'. At this point, your booking has been requested but not confirmed.

  13. You will receive an email which confirms your requested date and time and requests a payment into the Hall bank account. This will serve as a deposit until we can confirm your booking. Please transfer the payment promptly and reply to the email with details of the name of the account used to play (just the name, e.g. 'Joe Bloggs', please don't send account number or sort code). If you cannot pay by bank transfer, please contact

  14. Your request will be processed, usually within 7 days.

    • If the booking is accepted, you will receive a notification email to say that it has been confirmed. Your deposit will cover the booking so there is nothing further to pay or do. Instructions on how to access the Hall and important information on using it will also be sent over.

    •  If your booking is not accepted, you will receive a notification email, along with a full refund of your deposit payment to the same account it was paid from.

  15. If you have not paid within 3 days of the booking date, we reserve the right to cancel your booking.

  16. If you would like to cancel your booking after paying, we can refund in full provided you let us know at least 24 hours ahead of the booking time.
